A Herd of Reindeer Cards

Friends and family, I hope you’re ready for these

We made them by printing with card shapes backed with sponge.

We printed one colour a day so that the paint would dry before adding the next colour.

Adding the eyes and mouth was very amusing, such expression in the smallest of nuances.

We didn’t quite manage to get our Christmas cards made in the half term holidays but we did start them, finishing the printing this weekend instead.

They were pretty easy to make, we just used standard poster paint. The temptation to keep adding colour layers to them was only curtailed by lack of time. With each boy having 20 cards to make and write, we’re still going to need a lot more time dedicated to this project and it would be so nice not to rush the message writing part.
